Things that make me happy, in roughly chronological order

• The weather suddenly becoming beautiful


• lakmiseiru 's hiking trip this weekend at World's End--there were hilarious public transportation mishaps that turned out OK, scrambling around on big rocks, fighting through brambles, pretty ocean and trees, mud, friends, and many creatures (including a fox!)


• Having the panniers on my bicycle at all times--I bought a little crockpot for jewelry pickle and didn't have to think twice about how to get it home efficiently


• The fact that I successfully put a heavy table together (with help from yarngeek's socket wrench) after hauling the very heavy top portion of it down the stairs without any accidents


• The way that having the correct tool for a task completely transforms it from "I don't think this can work" to "done"


• My functionally-complete workspace in the basement!

Webcomic you should be reading: Family Man

Family Man: a masterfully-illustrated story featuring 18th-century German philosophy/theology and (heavily foreshadowed but as-yet unrevealed) werewolves. This is more a graphic novel than Penny Arcade kind of webcomic, with new pages published weekly.

Here's a thorough review elsewhere that should give you a good overview of what it's about. Here are a few things I'd like to call particular attention to:
