Jewelry stuff: I have all the non-soldering essential tools! They are shiny! But I need to go to the studio to get my stuff and hand in my keys before I can actually make stuff.

Game geekery: Myst Online is playable again, and Cyan is showing signs of actually moving towards including fan-made content, which would be neat. I've been poking at making something small, but even that seems pretty daunting.

I've also been on a bit of a retro-style-Myst-clone kick lately--I played through Comer (with a lot of help from a walkthrough), Terra Realms, and The Lost Mansion of Sojourn. None of them were particularly *good*, but there's something nice about the very specific genre that I find pleasant. Still looking around for something slightly longer and higher-quality in the same vein... The existence of Adventure Shop seems slightly dangerous :D (especially in conjunction with this list of reviews, which is enticingly thorough without being overwhelming). Still turning over the notion of "the perfect Myst clone" and "the ideal worldbuilding in which to set a Myst clone" in my head. Oh, and it looks like an upcoming game by the developer of Braid may be somewhat in the style of Myst (at least to the extent that Braid was in the style of Mario).
